Healthy Food Recipes | TikTok Compilation

One of my New Year’s Resolutions for this year is to prioritize my health. Because I spent more time at home last year, I became less active and less aware of the foods I was eating. I consumed a lot of unhealthy junk foods, and gradually, I began to gain weight and my body began to feel sluggish and unhealthy. I am the heaviest I’ve ever been in my entire life, and I’m becoming really uncomfortable with the way my body feels, so I’ve decided to commit to a healthier lifestyle by exercising more and eating healthier. As usual, I went to Food TikTok to gather some meal prep ideas and also to inspire me to eat cleaner and healthier. TikTok has made it easier for me to come up with healthier, low-calorie meals without sacrificing delicious foods. I’ve also really enjoyed discovering new foods and recipes to try out. Because of my healthier and cleaner diet (and exercise!), my body is beginning to feel better, and I am also more energetic! I’ve compiled a series of healthy food TikToks which consist of my favorite food TikTokers in hopes that it will help anyone else who‘s struggling with their health, weight, or mood or anyone who needs healthy food inspiration to aid in getting their health back on track. Radish/Mooli Sabzi:
Radish: 500 gms, cubed
Oil: 1 tsp
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder: 3/4 tbsp
Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste and coriander leaves to garnish.
Method:
Heat oil and add in cumin seeds.
Add in chilli powder and switch off the flame or else chilli powder will get burnt. Then add in the chopped mooli mix well.
If the mooli is very tender it will release water else add little water and cover and cook. Add salt.
Once cooked sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
Serve with roti. Left over can be used the next day

Idli upma:
2 cold idlis: Simply crumble with hands
Oil: 1-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
Jeera: 1/4 tsp
Urad dal: 1 tsp
Bengal gram dal: 1 tsp
Whole red chilies: 2, broken
Raw peanuts: 1-2 tbsp
Green chilies: 2, chopped
Curry leaves: 1 sprig
Onion: 1/2, chopped
Ginger: 1/2 tsp, grated.
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut: 1 tsp (optional)
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard seeds, jeera, urad, and bengal gram. Add in whole chilies and peanuts. Fry for 2 mins on low flame so that the peanuts are roasted.
Add in green chilies, onion, ginger, curry leaves and mix for a minute.
Add in turmeric powder. Add grated coconut if adding.
Crumble idli with your hands and add add and mix well for a minute or two. Serve hot.

Flax seed raita:
low fat curd: 3-4 tbsp
Ground flax seeds: 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder: a fat pinch

Mix all and serve.

Here, I’m sharing with you protein rich breakfast recipes that are quick and easy to make. These are instant and healthy Indian breakfast recipes packed with lots of fiber, protein and taste.

My first healthy breakfast recipe is Whole Moong Dal Dosa(pesarattu), with quick stuffing __ cottage cheese, onion and chopped coriander leaves. A complete blend of taste, nutrition and flavors, which you will experience in every bite of stuffed Whole Moong Dal Dosa. This high protein vegetarian breakfast keeps you full till lunch. You can eat this with homemade peanut and tomato chutney.

Ingredient list:

1 bowl Whole moong Dal (sabut moong)
1 small piece of ginger
2 green chillies
7-8 curry leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon cumin and coriander powder
2 tbsp desiccated coconut powder
cold pressed coconut oil or ghee for making dosa.
water for making batter.

For stuffing:

2 onions finely chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
1 small bowel grated paneer
salt and red chili powder as per taste.

Second recipe: Oats and Besan Chila__Super delicious and healthy breakfast recipe. It is prepared with oats, besan, chopped fresh vegetables and spices. This is a wholesome and nutritious vegetarian breakfast, rich in lots of fiber and protein. An ideal option for breakfast and even tea time snack.

Ingredient list:

1 bowl rolled oats(* bowl=200ml)
2 tbsp besan(gram flour)
2 tbsp chopped or grated carrot
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
2 tbsp chopped cabbage
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tbsp chopped ginger and green chili
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp cumin and coriander powder
salt as per taste.
ghee or cold pressed coconut oil for making chila.

Both the recipes are filling and nutritious. If you are trying to loose weight, these recipes are an excellent option.
