I don't understnd… Paleo isn't a strict low carb Keto diet, and many work out hard on Keto.. Paleo allows for much more carbs than a Keto diet. Why would Paleo be worse than Keto?

Lol worked for me. I did Whole30 back to back for 3 months, then started CrossFit and transitioned to Paleo. I lost over 100lbs. Went from a size 26/28 to a size 16. Still on my journey. I feel good and Im healthier.

The whole needing carbs to release insulin to bring down cortisol levels thing he said is just false. Protein also stimulates an insulin response, it just does it without raising blood sugar levels. It makes you wonder what else he was wrong about?

Greg Glassman's thesis for the everyday person still stands. Get off the couch, and off the carbs. Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar. Eat enough to support physical activity, but not excess body fat.
OG crossfit was about the minimal effective dose. Competitive crossfit is about maximum effective dose.

Forget about the best way to fuel crossfit, just stop doing crossfit! Crossfit is just like a low fat low calorie diet, it's just not sustainable and will do more harm than good in the long run.

Yeah just sweet potatoes are not enough carbs, since eating to many can cause high oxalate build up in the body. I just tell people I do a modified coastal paleo diet with low oxalates.

Paleo and fasting have literally changed my life, I have more energy than I ever did before.
Trust me give it a try and do it properly, it may be tough at the beginning but already within a week you'll start seeing chances never want to go back.

There is no one size fits all training or nutrition program. Making blanket statements like Paleo is behind “all of the problems in crossfit” is irresponsible to say the least if not outright ridiculous. Can we get to a point where people aren’t schizophrenic about these issues? Everyone relax. Determine what’s right for you.
If you’re a 45 year old who has metabolic syndrome, sloshing down white rice with every meal is not in your best interest.
