Yes – However, there is a lot of false information on this topic. We need to be at a calorie deficit in order to lose weight and strip off fat. But we can still build muscle in that calorie deficit as long as it’s a small one. If we have too big of deficit it severely compromises our ability to build muscle. Is nobody going to point out the fact that this dude already had a decent ammount of muscle and all he did was a cut to reveal it? Recomp is toally possible, but I don't see much of a recomp here but a period of fat loss to reveal preexisting muscle.
