In the last ten years on my fitness journey, I’ve learned a lot about how to build muscle naturally and how long does it take to build muscle. It’s not as simple and easy as most people think. Nutrition and recovery play an equally important role, and so does your overall lifestyle. As a natural, it’s also very important to have the right expectations so you stay committed to your fitness journey long-term.
In this video, I share what I believe is the most honest advice I can give you about building muscle as a natural. It’s not the typical stuff you hear about protein intake or different exercises, but the truth about how long it will take you to see results, how much muscle I managed to build in 1 year, and what is achievable naturally.

Any advice for a guy around 7.5 % body fat without even trying? In fact I'm actively trying to bulk, but it seems my metabolism doesn't agree with that. For reference I'm naturally tall and lean, 189 cm | 77 kg. Seems it's only possible for me to gain weight in muscle mass, but it's slow. Also I do not experience the side-effects of cutting discussed in the video.

About 2-3 months in I got the first comment which wasn't even so much of a comment but a simple question, and from a woman (nothing amorous either) "You been workin' out?" and I just said, "Yeah, a little" — but that was the best quasi-question/compliment I ever got actually. For me it took around 3 months. First month complete body workout, 3x a week. After that 3x push/pull/legs split, 4-5 times a week. My ass and upper legs did get massive, my back shouldets also the rest just a bit, but you could notice the difference.
