Living a healthy lifestyle, by maintaining proper diet and exercise, was challenging for many people who gave many reasons for not following guidelines. That\u2019s when the world wasn\u2019t experiencing a pandemic. Now with statewide stay-at-home orders, experts say the COVID-19 pandemic makes \u201cself-care\u201d more important than ever before. \u201cHow you eat, how you sleep, how you exercise, how you cope with stress, what type of close relationships you have, will affect the quality and quantity of your life,\u201d said Chief Wellness Officer Stephen Keithahn, MD, for MU Health Care. Now that people are spending more time at home, he said it\u2019s a good time to focus on nutrition and basic exercise.<\/p>\n
